MONEY EXCHANGE AND BANKING
The official currency is Euro. Currency exchange is available at airports, banks and major hotels.
Banks in Italy are open from 9.00 am to 1.30 pm and from 3.00 to 4.00 pm, from Monday to Friday. They are closed on Saturdays and Sundays.
Major credit cards are accepted in hotels, shops and restaurants. Exchange offices and ATMs can be found at the airport and in many places downtown.

CLIMATE AND CLOTHING
The weather in Catania in July is quite warm, with a temperature ranging between 28-35° C; nevertheless, a light pullover is recommended. Formal dress is requested only for Social Dinner.

The time zone in Catania is GMT +1.

Day 1: Transfer by bus to Milazzo. Hydrofoil from Milazzo to Lipari, the main of the Aeolian Islands. Sightseeing tour of the island by bus, which includes the visit to the Archeological Museum. In the afternoon free time to enjoy the beautiful sea and Lipari most beautiful beaches. Dinner and overnight stay in hotel.
Day 2: Breakfast in hotel and hydrofoil to Vulcano, one of the seven Aeolian Islands, famous for its black beaches and Thermal Springs. Time for going to the beach and to the Thermal Springs. In the late afternoon hydrofoil back to Milazzo and transfer by bus to Catania.
